A FILM ABOUT HARMONY.
A PEOPLE WHO
STILL REMEMBER

This project documents a world few have been allowed to witness. Created in collaboration with the Arhuaco community, Guardianes del Mundo is not just a film—it is an encounter with a living philosophy of balance, nature, and identity.

THE STORY

High in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta of Colombia lives the Arhuaco people, guardians of one of the world’s oldest living cultures. Their knowledge, passed down for centuries, holds a profound understanding of the natural world and our place within it.

With rare access granted over several years, Guardianes del Mundo offers an intimate look at their daily lives, spiritual beliefs, and enduring mission to protect the heart of the earth.

The project was selected as one of the Top 14 Documentary Projects of 2014 at the Los Angeles, California NALIP (National Association of Latino Independent Producers) Latino Media Market.
